The goal of the creative portrait photography seminar is to inspire guests to contemplate portrait photography in a conceptual and creative way.
During the seminar, the photographer shares their creative process and workflow from conception to final image via the lecture and slides, as well as specific sources of inspiration and photographic editing techniques.
About the Teacher
Our featured photographer will be Leticia Valdez. Leticia earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology and a Master of Arts in Costume Studies from New York University.
Leticia is a New York City based freelance fashion and portraiture photographer working with digital, analog and 19th-century alternative photographic processes. Her photographic style is dim and soft, often drawing inspiration from art history and solitude. She is moved by dull and dark color palettes, opting for a quiet and serene mood.
