David says: The idea was to tell the story of the aircraft departure - From overall airport to the hangar to interior details to takeoff. The takeoff was tricky to capture because of the speed and distance so I took as many as possible. This shot stood out immediately because of how well the plane is framed by the sky and buildings. I chose black and white to highlight the shapes by reducing the distraction of color.
